Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop

If you need to clean up your mess quickly, a robot vacuum cleaner and mop is the best way to go. The top robot vacuums and mops that I have tested come with top-quality mapping and navigation as well as the ability to remove Cheerios wires, tangled wires and fake dog turds, without leaving them behind.

You can also schedule cleaning tasks with an app and monitor their progress.

1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra

If you're looking for the best robot vacuum and mop combination with bleeding-edge features, look no further than the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. This high-end model is incredibly fast and nimble it can remove debris such as hair from pets and human hair nearly flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It has a sleek app interface that comes with a miniature map of your home as well as buttons on the screen to allow manual control.

Another notable feature of the S8 is its ability to change its cleaning mode according to dirt levels thanks to its Dirt Detection Technology. It will stop and wash its mopping pad more frequently when it encounters dust while prioritizing carpeted areas for mopping with a damp pad.

The mop roller has many other smart features, including docks that can be connected to the plumbing system in your home to clean and wash it without having to manually refill the mop. With the built-in voice assistant of the S8 it is possible to use voice commands to specify room cleaning modes and the ability to control granular settings using only your voice.

2. Yeedi Cube

The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those who want a hands-free robot vacuum that can also mop. It's among the many combo robot vacuums with mopping capabilities that are offered at a lower price than other models.

Like most robot vacuums, the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get started. This involves setting up an app account and connecting the device to your WiFi network. After that, however the robot can begin mopping and vacuuming with ease.

It's important to note that the mapping process can take quite a while, and it may require a few attempts before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate picture of your space. Additionally the object detection is unpredictable It was able to get around furniture and other obstacles, but was stuck on a loose tassel rug and had to turn its back to release itself. These aren't major issues and the Yeedi Cube remains a great choice for those who need an all-purpose cleaning tool that can do everything.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete provides a three-in-one cleaning solution. Its mopping technology is advanced and features a rotating motion similar to hand scrubbing, which results in floors that are actually cleaned, not just being swept. The vacuum stick that can be detached is a game changer that can get to places a robot vacuum cannot.

The model is basically identical to the popular X2 Omni, but with an increased suction power of 8700Pa and some additional intelligent features. The upgraded RGBD sensor will learn to understand your home's layout better and provide dynamic obstacles avoidance. The app's smart feature allows you to alter a variety of settings including AI cleanings and virtual boundaries.

The X2 Combo is also self-prepping and has both the robot vacuum and the mop returning to their charging station after each job to wash their pads and empty their dust bins and put the waste in the self-sealing bags. This helps keep the system tidy and also stops allergens from circulating. The battery life is long enough to remove large areas without the need for a charge mid-clean.

4. Eufy S1 Pro

The Eufy S1 Pro is a top-quality robot vacuum and mop model that comes with impressive features at an affordable price. It is equipped with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power, a rotating brush for hard and carpet floors and an excellent obstacle avoidance. It also features a unique mopping method that uses a roller constantly sprayed with water to collect dirt and deposit it in the water tank.

Its navigation system performed well. It stayed clear of the stairs and was able to navigate close to walls without crashing. However,  see here  had trouble with fine-grained debris and was not always able to get rid of raised thresholds for rooms. Its operating sound level is also very high, which means this model may not be as simple to set and forget as other models.

Like many robotic vacuums and mops, the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that allows you to refill its clean water as well as empty its dustbin and mop pad, as well as wash and dry its mop. This makes upkeep easy and helps the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors on a routine schedule. Eufy's app lets you manage all the functions. It provides clear information and plenty of options for configuration.

5. Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is one of the most premium robot mowers and vacuums available, and it offers impressive mixed vacuuming and mopping performance. The LIDAR mapping sensors can detect furniture legs, obstacles and other obstacles with decent precision. The application allows users to adjust the coverage of the map, create no-go zones and customize cleaning preferences. The main roller brush of the Freo is also designed to stop hair from wrapping around it, which could be a major issue with many robotic vacuums.

The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads that spin at 180 RPM, while applying upward pressure of up to 12N. The mopping system is equipped with intelligent carpet detectors, which lift the pads up when they are close to soft surfaces to prevent contamination.

The docking station is designed to function as a hands-free center for maintenance which is capable of automatically drying and washing the mops and refilling them with water and detergent. The base station comes with an integrated dust-processing system that compacts dust, allowing for seven weeks of uninterrupted maintenance.

6. S10

A few hundred dollars more than the S8 and this robot does an excellent job of keeping my office spotless and also tackle the corners of my tight apartment. It uses laser mapping camera and laser to create a 3D model of your home, so it knows what to stay clear of. It also has a detector for objects and obstructions that will stay clear of things like dog bowls and toys (but not the poop) unlike other vacuums.

It has other great standout features, including a self-emptying dustbin, a mop pad that's self-washing and able to adjust the temperature of water and a side-reaching sweeper brush that can reach areas other mops miss. You can also adjust the settings for each room, and set up cleaning schedules.

Similar to the S8 It also has multi-room smart mapping, and can distinguish between carpets, laminate and hardwood flooring with high-pile rugs. And, if you're looking to save time, it will skip cleaning rooms that aren't filthy. It's an excellent option for those who have a variety of flooring in your home but do not want to invest the extra money for the Roborock with advanced mapping features.

7. Q5 Pro

This robot is a great option if you are seeking a flexible robot that can do both regular daily maintenance as well as touch-ups to messy water stains. It offers a broad range of features, including a self-emptying dustbin, a separate water refill dock, as well as adjustable settings in the app. It's quite quiet, and it's able to maneuver around furniture legs and socks with ease. However, it isn't able to take care of tangled rug tassels and its battery drains slightly quicker than other models in our tests.

The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerhouse that offers powerful suction and convenient automation, all in a sleek and stylish. It didn't perform as well as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our vacuuming tests however, it performed very well. It also comes with a selection of cleaning options to meet your needs, from the low-power 'Quiet' option for lightweight debris to the more powerful 'Turbo' option for rooms with carpet. It even has the ability to automatically remove and reattach its mop pads without getting your carpets wet.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is a great two-in-one robot vacuum and mop for people who live in cramped areas. It's quiet and quick, and it does a great job of getting around tight spots. It's also extremely effective at removing pet hair off carpeting.

It's smaller than many of its competitors however it doesn't sacrifice any features. It has a decent amount of suction power, and it is able to take a photo of each object it finds (i.e. chew toys, or socks, etc.)) and mark them as 'not found in the app, so that they aren't removed during subsequent cleanings. The photos are secure, and are not tied to your account.

It is capable of vaccuming, but it isn't quite as efficient at mopping. It makes use of disposable wet wipes that you clip onto the bottom of the bot, and it essentially drags them across your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal models, which come with water reservoirs that automatically wash and reattach their mopheads.
